The receipts
DTE and Consumers Energy are Michigan's two big power companies. They keep asking for rate hikes and continue to make record profits at the expense of Michigan families.

These utility companies can ask for more every 12 months, and they do.

Eli Savit’s Record
As Washtenaw County's prosecutor, Eli Savit's job is to protect people, including from companies that cheat them.
In the face of economic uncertainty and skyrocketing prices, it’s more important than ever to protect Michigan consumers against predatory businesses. Eli Savit has already established himself as a statewide leader on consumer-protection issues. He created a unit in the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office specifically dedicated to worker and consumer protection—and has led multi-jurisdictional litigation efforts to revitalize Michigan's Consumer Protection Act.
- Built a team just to protect workers and consumers.[3]
- Leading the fight to fix Michigan's weak consumer protection law.[3]
- Took on wage thieves, scammers, and slumlords.
- Won't take a dime from DTE or Consumers Energy.[5]
Eli will prioritize consumer protection, and will litigate to stop price gouging, deceptive practices, and other consumer abuse.
Fighting for Michiganders
When the power companies want more money, one person speaks for every Michigan family: the Attorney General. That job is up for election this year.
Big Tech is building huge data centers in Michigan, and each one uses as much power as a small city. Someone has to pay to power them and the power companies want it to be you.
Eli Savit will fight that in court. Doug Lloyd has no plan.[3]
of voters want to protect families from higher bills caused by data centers.
of voters want a crackdown on price gouging.
